Palestinian official warns of 'Israeli' plan for large-scale Jenin raid

Deputy Governor of Jenin, Mansour Al-Saadi, has warned of an 'Israeli' plan to carry out a wide-scale invasion of the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, comparing the potential operation to the recent military campaign in northern Gaza.

In an interview with Anadolu Agency, Al-Saadi revealed that the 'Israeli' army has sealed all four entrances to the city of Jenin and its refugee camp using dirt mounds, effectively imposing a complete blockade and restricting movement in and out of the area.

He also noted ongoing demolitions targeting homes and buildings surrounding the camp, which he described as a prelude to an imminent invasion.

The Palestinian official cautioned that the camp might face a fate similar to that of northern Gaza, where the 'Israeli' military conducted a large-scale campaign that began on October 5, 2024, and lasted until the ceasefire on Jan. 19, 2025.
