Shooting, stabbing operation in downtown Tel Aviv

"Israeli" media reported a shooting incident in one of the streets in downtown Tel Aviv, resulting in a young man sustaining serious injuries. 

Maariv newspaper mentioned that a large police force was summoned to the scene of the incident to investigate the circumstances surrounding it.

Channel 12 reported that the injury was the result of a stabbing.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported from the police that "a suspect attempted to stab passersby on Levontin Street in Tel Aviv, and police forces are combing the area."

Channel 13 confirmed that one of the injured in the stabbing incident in downtown Tel Aviv has died.

The Israeli Occupation police are working to determine the background and details of the incident, amidst heightened security alerts in the area.
