Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, stressed the urgent need for an international effort to provide adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to address the humanitarian catastrophe caused by 'Israeli' aggression in Gaza. He also highlighted the necessity of a genuine effort to rebuild Gaza and end the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Safadi reaffirmed that, under the guidance and follow-up of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza and support the Palestinian people's efforts to achieve their legitimate rights and secure a just peace.

He emphasized the importance of collective efforts to solidify the ceasefire agreement and build upon it to create real prospects for a fair and comprehensive solution that ensures the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution. This, he stated, is the only path to achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
