Public security: Fatality, injuries in nationwide traffic accidents

The Public Security Radio’s traffic report on Thursday detailed several accidents across Jordanian roads.

On Wednesday, a tragic incident in Russeifa claimed the life of a 6-year-old girl, fatally struck by her father’s vehicle.

In another incident, a child was injured in the Jawa area of Amman after being hit by a car. The driver’s failure to observe traffic precautions was cited as the cause.

A truck overturned on the Irbid-Amman highway but caused no injuries, coming to rest on the central median.

On Airport Road near Jiza, a collision left six people injured. Emergency teams provided first aid and transported them for further care.

Further south, a truck overturned after the Qastal Bridge, resulting in a moderate injury.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) urged drivers to exercise caution, follow safety measures, and inspect their vehicles before hitting the road.
