"Israel" publicly admits for first time to assassinating Ismail Haniyeh
"Israeli" Defense Minister Israel Katz publicly confirmed on Monday that his country assassinated Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, in Tehran earlier this year, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
This marks "Israel's" first official admission of Haniyeh's assassination.
Katz stated, "We struck Haniyeh in Tehran in July, and we will strike the Houthis just as decisively. Their strategic infrastructure and leadership are within our sights, just as we dealt with Yahya Sinwar and Hassan Nasrallah in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. We’ll do the same in Hodeidah and Sanaa."
Katz continued, "We’ve defeated Hamas, dismantled Hezbollah, blinded Iran’s defense systems, and crippled its production capabilities."
He also issued a stark warning to Yemen's Houthi rebels, threatening to "eliminate" their leaders.
He added, "We brought down Assad’s regime in Syria, delivered severe blows to the Axis of Evil, and now we’ll deal with the Houthis, the last group still targeting Israel."
Katz further warned, "Anyone who raises a hand against Israel will face swift retaliation. The Israeli military’s long reach will hold them accountable."
