Safadi meets with Ahmed Al-Sharaa to discuss Jordan-Syria relations
Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, engaged in extensive talks with Ahmed Al-Sharaa, the Commander of the new Syrian administration.

On Monday, Safadi visited Damascus, where he met with Sharaa and several Syrian officials.
The visit is focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring ways to enhance cooperation in security and economic sectors. It will also address regional developments in light of recent events.
Additionally, the visit is part of broader regional and international efforts to promote stability in the region and to seek political solutions to the Syrian crisis that serve the interests of the Syrian people and preserve the unity of Syria's territory.
The discussions are expected to cover the issue of Syrian refugees in Jordan, with Jordan coordinating with Syria to find sustainable solutions that address both economic and humanitarian challenges.
