“Israeli” assault on Gaza enters day 441
The “Israeli” assault on Gaza has entered its 441st day, persisting in targeting civilians and destroying critical infrastructure.
In a significant development, Al-Qassam Brigades announced the killing of an “Israeli” officer and three soldiers in a stabbing attack in Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza.
The group also released footage showing the sniper shooting of an “Israeli” soldier in the Al-Tawam area, also in northern Gaza.
Simultaneously, Al-Quds Brigades released video footage of an attack targeting an “Israeli” military site in the Netzarim area.
“Israeli” escalations
"Israeli" airstrikes on Gaza continued to claim lives, leaving dozens of fatalities and injuries. Ambulance crews reported facing severe challenges in reaching victims due to ongoing bombardments.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that “Israeli” forces committed four massacres within 24 hours, killing 32 Palestinians and injuring 94 others.
Since the assault began on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 45,129, with 107,338 injured, marking an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
West Bank developments
Clashes erupted in the Tulkarm and Balata refugee camps in the West Bank, resulting in the deaths of several Palestinians amid ongoing tensions in the region.
In parallel, Reuters reported progress in narrowing disagreements as mediators work to broker a ceasefire agreement.
The US Department of Defense acknowledged the high civilian toll among Palestinians and “Israelis”, calling for serious efforts to alleviate civilian suffering.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed the need to increase pressure on Hamas to reach an agreement, noting that the group has reached a critical juncture, although previous efforts have not yielded decisive results.
