'Israeli' aggression on Gaza reaches day 435
Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza has entered its 435th day, with the 'Israeli' army issuing an urgent "evacuation notice" to residents of several neighborhoods in northern Gaza amidst heightened airstrikes and an ongoing siege.
In response, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced rocket strikes targeting Ashkelon and 'Israeli' settlements near Gaza.
The group confirmed via its Telegram account that the attacks occurred at 9 PM on Friday. This coincided with the sounding of sirens in the settlements of Zikim, Ashkelon, Netiv HaAsara, and Yad Mordechai.
Operation Aqsa Typhoon
On October 7, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon in retaliation for 'Israeli' violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In response, 'Israel' initiated a military campaign named “Iron Swords,” carrying out extensive airstrikes across Gaza.
These strikes have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians, injuries to many more, and widespread destruction of residential towers and critical infrastructure.
