Jake Paul claims victory over Mike Tyson in boxing showdown
Jake Paul, the controversial social media sensation turned boxer, scored a stunning victory over former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in their professional bout on Friday night in Arlington, Texas.
In front of a crowd of 72,300 at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, Paul dominated most of the fight, becoming the sixth boxer in Tyson’s career to defeat him.
The opening rounds were closely contested, with both fighters adjusting to each other's styles. Tyson (58) came out strong in the third round, but Paul (27) quickly regained control, landing a series of heavy punches.
As the rounds progressed, Tyson showed signs of fatigue while Paul continued to apply pressure, delivering powerful blows. After 8 rounds, Paul had firmly established dominance and secured a thrilling win.
Despite criticism of Tyson’s age and his decision to fight at 58, he will receive USD 20 million for the bout, while Paul is set to earn USD 40 million.

Some people are saying that Mike Tyson slapping Jake Paul during the weigh in is scripted. That the whole fight is scripted. But even if he loses, Tyson wins because name a sweeter gig than getting paid to slap Jake Paul.
