"Save us before it is too late," pleas Jordanian doctor in Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital
The urgent calls for help from Jordanian doctor Ammar Al-Hmood gained significant attention on social media in recent hours.
From inside Kamal Adwan Hospital, which is under imminent threat of bombardment from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), Dr. Al-Hmood issued an urgent plea for the immediate evacuation of the facility.
In a video statement, he highlighted critical cases of children trapped in the hospital, pleading, "Save us before it is too late." He emphasized the difficulty of evacuating these patients due to the dire conditions faced by families in the Gaza Strip, where many hospitals have ceased operations.
The IOF continued its offensive against Gaza for the 370th consecutive day, resulting in new massacres and targeting civilians in their homes and areas that are purportedly safe. This includes assaults on displaced persons' tents, schools, and mosques.
Dr. Hossam Abu Safia, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, called on the international community to intervene and prevent the occupation from executing its decision to fully evacuate the hospital of both patients and medical staff.
Abu Safia reported that they are treating extremely severe cases of children with shrapnel injuries throughout their bodies, all of whom are dependent on ventilators.
On Tuesday, the IOF warned Kamal Adwan, Indonesian, and Al-Awda hospitals in northern Gaza to evacuate all medical personnel and patients, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
