In the early hours of Saturday, "Israeli" airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs intensified, targeting Hezbollah positions in the Lebanese capital.

Israeli Occupation military confirmed it was attacking Hezbollah targets in Beirut, following an earlier strike on Hezbollah sites in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.

Earlier, an "Israeli" military spokesperson stated that Tel Aviv was assessing the results of an airstrike on Hezbollah’s central command in the southern suburbs. The spokesperson noted that the attack on Hezbollah’s central headquarters was precise but mentioned no changes to the Home Front Command’s instructions.

Israeli Occupation army also issued warnings to residents of several buildings in southern Beirut and Hadath, signaling imminent strikes.

Rising Death Toll

Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from Friday’s Israeli Occupation airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs has risen to six, with 91 injured, including several in critical condition. In less than a week, the overall death toll has exceeded 1,540.

Hezbollah Retaliates

In response to the attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets. According to "Israeli" media, sirens blared in over 100 towns across the Galilee, while loud explosions were heard in Tel Aviv.

"Israeli" military spokesperson confirmed that a ground-to-ground rocket fired from Lebanon landed in an open area in central Tel Aviv.

Israeli Occupation media also reported the detection of five rockets launched from Lebanon toward northern occupied Palestine and the West Bank, with most intercepted by defense systems.

Channel 12 reported the launch of 16 rockets from Lebanon toward the Galilee in the most recent strike, confirming that around 75 rockets have been fired from Lebanon into occupied Palestine since the attacks on Beirut began.
