The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said today that it will launch a “large-scale” strike on Beqaa Valley in East Lebanon, in the latest round of “Israeli” escalations against Lebanon.

The death toll from strikes today has risen to 100, according to the latest update by the Lebanese Health Ministry.

IOF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the strikes are “targeting infrastructure built by Hezbollah in Lebanon over the years.”

He added that IOF aircraft struck more than 300 targets in Lebanon today.

“The situation on the northern front is very difficult,” Hagari said, adding that their “sole mission is to secure the return of the residents of the north” and will do “whatever is necessary to achieve that.”

The IOF’s Arabic spokesperson issued an “urgent warning” for residents of the Bekaa Valley and villages.

“You must leave and distance yourself at least 1,000 meters from the village within two hours or head to the nearest central school and not return until further notice,” Avichay Adraee said.
