'Israel' closes airspace for 24 hours after Beirut assassination
Starting early Saturday and lasting for 24 hours, all air travel facilities and airspace within "Israel" will be closed, according to official broadcasting authorities.
This decision was made due to concerns about potential large-scale rocket launches following the assassination operation in the southern Beirut suburb and subsequent communication explosions.
Local media indicated that the closure of civilian airspace would extend from the Hadera area south of Haifa to the northern border with Lebanon.
On Friday afternoon, "Israeli" forces launched a targeted attack with four missiles on a building in southern Beirut, causing it to collapse down to the second basement level. The strike was aimed at 20 commanders of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Unit, who were gathered for a meeting.
