Netanyahu postpones US visit amid security concerns

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu postponed his upcoming visit to the US due to escalating developments in northern occupied Palestine, a spokesperson confirmed on Friday.

The official stated that Netanyahu's departure has been delayed by one day, now scheduled for September 25 instead of the originally planned date of September 24.

The postponement coincides with a focused airstrike by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which occurred on the same day.

Hebrew media reported that the strike targeted Ibrahim Aqil, a prominent member of Hezbollah's Jihad Council, who assumed leadership after the assassination of Fuad Shukr.
