10-year-old boy found hanged in Ramallah

A 10-year-old boy was found hanging from a flagpole in the Al-Tireh neighborhood of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on Friday morning, according to eyewitness reports.

The boy was discovered near his family’s home, prompting Palestinian security forces to open an investigation into the incident.

Colonel Louay Erziqat, spokesperson for the Palestinian police, confirmed that law enforcement and security forces have launched a probe into the tragic death of the child, who was found hanged in Ramallah.

Later, in a statement issued by the police, it was revealed that after reviewing surveillance footage from the area, it appeared that the child accidentally hanged himself while playing.

The Palestinian police urged parents to be vigilant and warn their children of the dangers posed by certain games and behaviors that may seem harmless but could pose a serious threat to their lives.
