"Wishing all the best": Crown Prince's support for national team ahead of Kuwait match
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein shared a video on his Instagram story of the national football team during their final training session ahead of their match against Kuwait on Thursday.
He captioned the video, "Wishing all the best to our national team today."
The national team kicks off the third round of qualifiers with their match against Kuwait on Thursday evening at the Amman International Stadium.
Jordan is in Group B with South Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, and Palestine.
The team trained on Tuesday evening at the Petra Stadium in Al-Hussein Youth City Club, under coach Jamal Sellami, with all players present after the return of overseas professionals.
Next Tuesday, the team will play against Palestine in Malaysia.
To ensure the team's comfort due to the tight schedule between the Kuwait and Palestine matches, the Jordan Football Association (JFA) chartered a private plane.
The qualifying system divides teams into three groups of six. The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the 2026 World Cup, while the third and fourth-place teams will proceed to the fourth round of qualifiers.
