The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed to have found the bodies of several “Israeli” captives in the Gaza Strip.

The IOF asserted that its forces are still working in the area, conducting operations to recover and identify the bodies, a process expected to take several hours.

Hebrew sources reported that the IOF recovered six bodies from Gaza, including an American citizen, in a tunnel in Rafah on Sunday morning.

The IOF claimed that the bodies of detainees found in Rafah had been executed by Hamas members shortly before their discovery.

IOF spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced, "We have identified the bodies of the six [captives] found in Gaza. These [captives] were kidnapped in the October 7 attack and were killed by Hamas."

"Israeli" newspaper, the Times of Israel, reported that the executions may have occurred a day or two before the army's discovery.

In response, Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishq held "Israel" responsible for the deaths, accusing it of being "unwilling to reach an agreement."

  4. Alexander Lobanov (32 years old)
  5. Almog Sarusi (26 years old)
  6. Sergeant First Class Ori Danino (25 years old)

Hebrew media have published photos of the identified captives, and the IOF's captive team has notified their families.
