Hamas calls double attack on Gush Etzion, Karmei Tzur as 'message of resistance'
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the dual attack on Gush Etzion and Karmei Tzur is a message that resistance will continue as long as the Israeli Occupation aggression persists.
Hebrew media reported that the attack, which targeted the two settlements in the West Bank late Friday night, resulted in injuries to the Gush Etzion Brigade commander, a soldier, and several settlers.
Israeli Occupation Forces are continuing their large-scale military operation for the fourth day, with intense clashes occurring in Jenin Refugee Camp and additional raids and confrontations in Nablus, Qalqilya, and Tubas.
Earlier Friday evening, a large explosion occurred near the Gush Etzion settlement north of Hebron, resulting in two injuries. According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the explosion was caused by a vehicle detonating at a gas station.
Hebrew media also reported two injuries in a separate car-ramming and shooting incident at the Karmei Tzur settlement, occurring simultaneously with the Gush Etzion explosion.
Yedioth Ahronoth noted that the shooter near Karmei Tzur was neutralized, and additional reinforcements were deployed to the area.
The IDF radio confirmed that the two injured in Gush Etzion were from a car bomb, while two others were injured in the Karmei Tzur incident. The condition of the injured in Gush Etzion was reported as moderate and light, while the injury at Karmei Tzur was minor.
