Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi
"Israel's occupation of Palestine is biggest regional threat," says Safadi
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has accused Israeli Occupation officials of openly committing war crimes against the Palestinian people, justifying brutal massacres of innocent Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, and violating international law.
In a tweet on the platform X, Safadi stated that Israeli Occupation officials are now trying to divert the world's attention from their aggression in Gaza and the West Bank by spreading misinformation about regional security threats and Jordan.
Safadi emphasized that "the biggest threat to regional security is Israel’s occupation of Palestine, racist policies, illegal measures and continued war against Palestinians."
He pointed out that extremists who celebrate the killing of children, use starvation as a weapon, bomb hospitals and schools, attack UN humanitarian missions, violate the sanctity of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, and deny Palestinians the right to life, have no credibility.
Safadi also stated that many UN Security Council resolutions, International Court of Justice rulings, and testimonies from international organizations carry more credibility than the claims of an Israeli Occupation official advocating for collective punishment against Palestinians.
Safadi expressed support for Josep Borrell's call to impose sanctions on extremist officials and urged the European Union and the international community to act immediately. He called for sanctions, an end to arms sales to Israeli Occupation, and insisted that Israeli Occupation should not be allowed to continue violating international law, defying the will of the global community, slaughtering Palestinians, and threatening regional security without consequences.
