Suspicious cardboard box in Abdoun prompts security response

A report was received by the operations room Tuesday afternoon regarding a “suspicious cardboard box” found on a public road in the Abdoun area, according to a statement from the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

Security units were dispatched to the site, and upon inspection, it was determined that the box was empty, containing only a few bags.

The necessary precautions were taken by the authorities.
