Tel Aviv operation perpetrator
Israeli Occupation identify perpetrator of Tel Aviv operation
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have revealed the identity of the perpetrator behind the Tel Aviv attack that occurred a few days ago.
Qassam Brigades and Quds Brigades had claimed responsibility for the operation.
Israeli Occupation authorities informed the family of Jaafar Mona, a young man from Nablus, that their son was responsible for the bombing in Tel Aviv a few days ago, according to a Roya correspondent.
Hamas' Qassam Brigades, in coordination with Islamic Jihad's Quds Brigades, announced that they carried out the operation on Sunday evening in Tel Aviv.
Qassam Brigades stated that "martyrdom operations within the occupied territories will resurface as long as the massacres, displacement of civilians, and assassination policies by the occupation continue," according to their statement.
Israeli Occupation Forces acknowledged on Monday that the explosion in central Tel Aviv on Sunday evening was an "attempted bombing operation."
In a joint statement, the Shin Bet and the Israeli Occupation police described the Tel Aviv attack as a "security incident executed using an explosive device," which resulted in one settler being moderately injured.
Channel 12, the last time an "unusual and unclear" explosion occurred in Tel Aviv, which was suspected to be an attempted attack, was on Sept. 15, 2023.
The explosion at that time took place in Yarkon Park, and a gag order was also imposed on the incident, as reported by Channel 12.
