King Abdullah II, Crown Prince attend funeral of former PM Zaid Rifai

His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II attended Tuesday the funeral of former Prime Minister Zaid Rifai at the Royal Cemetery in Amman.

The ceremony began with the funeral prayer at the Royal Guards Mosque, followed by the burial at the Royal Cemetery. The funeral was attended by various members of the Royal Family, as well as senior officials and military officers.

Zaid Rifai, who passed away recently, held multiple prestigious positions throughout his career, including Prime Minister, Senate President, and Royal Hashemite Court Chief. He also served in various ministerial roles and the diplomatic corps.
