Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, strongly condemned the recent massacre carried out by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), targeting a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza.

Safadi described the attack as a war crime, adding to the series of crimes committed by the Israeli Occupation in Gaza.

In his statement, Safadi affirmed, "Jordan will not be a battlefield for anyone. We have communicated this stance to both the Iranians and the Israelis."

He further highlighted that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, has been at the forefront of international efforts to halt the aggression and deliver aid to Gaza since the onset of the crisis.

Safadi's visit to Tehran, upon the invitation of Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, aimed to prevent further escalation in the region.

Safadi called on the international community to pressure Israeli Occupation into halting its military actions in Gaza.

It is worth noting that early Saturday, the Israeli Occupation army committed a massacre inside a school in Gaza City, resulting in over 100 deaths and dozens of injuries. The attack occurred during the dawn prayer, directly targeting displaced individuals in the Al-Tabeen School on Al-Nafaq Street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, according to Gaza's Government Information Office.
