Julyana Al-Sadeq reaches taekwondo Olympic quarterfinals

Jordanian taekwondo player Julyana Al-Sadeq advanced to the quarterfinals in the +67kg weight category at the Paris 2024 Olympics after defeating Navuga Naitasi from Fiji.

National team athlete Saleh Al-Sharabaty was eliminated in the Round of 16 in the -80kg category following a loss to Brazilian Henrique Marques Rodrigues.

Taekwondo competitor Zaid Mustafa secured a silver medal in the -68kg category at the Paris 2024 Olympics, losing in the final to Uzbek Ulugbek Rashitov.

Jordan's taekwondo participation at the Paris Olympics will conclude on Saturday with Rama Abu Rabe, ranked ninth in her weight class, facing Moroccan athlete Fatima Zahra Abou Faras in the Round of 16.
