Important notice for Tawjihi 2024 students ahead of second-to-last exam in Jordan

Tawjihi students will finish Saturday the 2024 general secondary school certificate (Tawjihi) exams for the comprehensive vocational secondary education track and academic branches.

Scientific, industrial, and home economics students will take the life sciences exam, while literary and legal students will take the Arabic language “specialization” exam, Paper 2. Hotel and tourism students will take the Food Production exam, Paper 2. The final exam will be held next Monday.

The Ministry of Education has announced that exam durations vary: one and a half hours for industrial, home economics, and hotel branches, and two hours for scientific, literary, and forensic students. To ensure smooth conduct, the Ministry advised students to arrive one hour early, bring necessary identification, and ignore rumors. Additionally, 10 extra minutes will be added to each exam.

The Ministry has also set up an operations room to handle inquiries and observations, preparing daily reports on the exam process. The Higher Education Council has unified admission requirements for all Jordanian higher education institutions, removing exceptions for foreign students starting the 2024-2025 academic year. This aims to maintain the quality and reputation of Jordanian higher education.
