“Israel” drops leaflets on Gaza city ordering residents to evacuate

The “Israeli” army on Wednesday dropped leaflets on Gaza City urging all of its residents to leave for what it called “safe zones” – amid an intensified military offensive in the area which started a few days ago.

The thousands of leaflets, addressed to "everyone in Gaza City", set out routes out of the city to the south and warned it would "remain a dangerous combat zone" – according to Agence France-Presse (AFP) journalist.
