Advisor to Syrian President Luna Shibl dies in car accident

Luna Al-Shibl, Advisor to Syria's President passed away on Friday following a severe car accident.

Over the past years, Luna Al-Shibl served as the director of the Political and Media Office at the Presidency and later as a special advisor to the Presidency.

The Syrian Republic Presidency expressed its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to her family and relatives.

On July 2, the Presidency's Political and Media Office informed SANA that Special Advisor Luna Al-Shibl had been involved in a traffic accident on a road leading to Damascus.
