Ajloun's Agriculture Director, Engineer Rami Adwan, stated that the Forestry Department managed to remove 15 violations on forest lands to preserve and protect the vegetation cover.

Adwan added that the directorate, under the direction of the Minister of Agriculture, implemented a plan to enhance monitoring of forest resources and reduce violations and fires through intensive field tours. The plan includes building 9 towers for forest monitoring and protection, 8 water tanks, and implementing an irrigation network at Rajeb Forestry Station.

He highlighted the establishment of a 2,000-dunum forest in the Rajeb and Kfarnja areas and the planting and distribution of over 35,000 trees and school gardens. He noted that forest lands make up 34 percent of the province's area, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
