A fire erupted on Monday in the Ajloun and Jerash area, specifically near Ain Um Joza, as reported by an eyewitness to Roya.

A local citizen mentioned that firefighting helicopters quickly arrived to tackle the blaze.

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the civil defense teams were actively working to extinguish the fire in the Safsafa forest area in Ajloun Governorate.

Over the past 24 hours, the Civil Defense Directorate responded to 1,317 different emergency cases, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

The spokesperson highlighted that the civil defense dealt with 119 rescue incidents, averaging a response time of 9 minutes and 9 seconds, along with 70 firefighting incidents and 233 dry grass fire incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 53 seconds.
