A poll conducted by the Jewish People Policy Institute has revealed that 60 percent of “Israelis” support their “country” accepting the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal outlined by US President Joe Biden.

Around 56 percent of Jewish “Israelis” have a “very low” level of trust in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and 74 percent of “Arab-Israelis” share the same views.

The level of trust in Netanyahu’s government declined compared to the month of May, with almost three quarters of “Israelis” having a “very low” or “fairly low” trust in the government of Netanyahu.

Regarding the military, the poll showed a steady decline in trust in the Israeli Occupation Forces’ (IOF) commanders, primarily among right-wingers, while centrist and left-wingers trust the IOF.

On Lebanon and the daily skirmishes with Hezbollah in the north, 36 percent support an all-out attack on Hezbollah “as soon as possible”; 30 percent support a political settlement; while 26 percent support a war in Lebanon once the aggression against Gaza ends.
