Eight soldiers and officers of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) were killed in Gaza early Saturday when an anti-tank missile struck their armored vehicle, according to the Hebrew website Hadashot Bezaman.

Hebrew media confirmed that the vehicle exploded immediately, engulfing it in flames and killing the occupants instantly.

The Israeli Occupation military notified the families of the eight soldiers about their deaths following the attack on their vehicle.

The IOF have been conducting aggressive operations against Gaza for the 253rd consecutive day, resulting in numerous civilian casualties and extensive bombings, which have led to the deaths of 37,266 Palestinians and injuries to 85,102 others.

On October 7, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation military initiated Operation Iron Swords, conducting violent raids across the Gaza Strip, resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and significant destruction of buildings and infrastructure.

Since October 7, the death toll among Israeli Occupation Forces has risen to 650, with 298 deaths occurring since the ground operation began on October 27. Additionally, 3,832 Israeli Occupation soldiers have been injured, with 579 classified as serious, 986 as moderate, and 2,267 as minor injuries.
