However, some sectors with a one-day weekend will continue working on Saturday, June 15, which is considered a regular working day, according to a statement by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh.

Khasawneh’s announcement clarified that the Eid al-Adha holiday will commence from Sunday morning, June 16, until Thursday evening, June 20.

In line with this decision, the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) issued a circular stating that banks and branches wishing to remain open during this period must notify the Central Bank beforehand.

Moreover, various entertainment and religious events have been organized in different cities to spread joy and happiness among citizens and visitors alike.

Additionally, municipalities across the Kingdom have announced designated places for selling sacrificial animals, along with the working hours of licensed slaughterhouses, to facilitate those intending to offer sacrifices during the Eid period.
