The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has announced a traffic management plan in anticipation of the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday.

The Traffic Department stated via the Public Security Radio that the plan aims to prevent congestion and facilitate the movement of citizens by increasing the presence of both mobile and foot patrols, as well as traffic officers in public places and markets.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued an official decree, specifying the Eid al-Adha holiday, which will start from Sunday, June 16, until Thursday, June 20.

The decree stated that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and authorities, official universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies would be closed during the aforementioned period.

Exceptions were made for ministries, official departments, and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
