Hamas says it gave mediators response on Biden’s Gaza ceasefire proposal

Two senior Hamas officials said that the movement has submitted its response to the “Israeli” ceasefire proposal to the mediators, Egypt and Qatar.

"Hamas has officially delivered its response to Egyptian and Qatari mediators regarding the Israeli proposal for a ceasefire announced by the American President (Joe Biden)", one official told Agence France-Presse (AFP) on condition of anonymity.

Hamas’ response includes amendments to the proposal, which include a complete withdrawal of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) from the Gaza Strip, including the Rafah Border Crossing and the Philadelphi Corridor.
