Jordan to temporarily close airspace today

Jordan’s airspace will be closed to departing and arriving flights today, Sunday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – Queen Alia International airport said in a statement.

The temporary closure comes due to aerial displays conducted by the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) on the occasion of His Majesty’s King Abdullah Silver Jubilee and 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne.

Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for flight and schedule updates – the statement added.
