Hamas’ first statements after rescue of four “Israeli” captives
Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh stated that "Israel" cannot impose its choices on the movement.
"If the occupation thinks it can impose its choices on us by force, it is delusional," Haniyeh said in a statement.
He added, "The movement will not agree to any deal that does not first and foremost ensure the security of our people."
Earlier today, The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said that four captives were rescued alive in an operation in central Gaza Strip.
The four captives are identified as: Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv.
Two Hamas sites were raided by “Israeli” special forces in Nuseirat, central Gaza. Noa Argamani was released at the first location, while Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv were released at the second.
