JHCO data reveals amount of aid sent by Jordan to Gaza Strip since Oct. 7

Recent data released by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) say that the total weight of aid sent from Jordan to the Gaza Strip, and distributed within Gaza through partner organizations, reached approximately 31,000 tons.

Jordan dispatched 20,000 tons of food supplies, 2,400 tons of relief materials, 1,500 tons of medicines and medical supplies, and around 720 tons of sanitary supplies. Meanwhile, approximately 6,000 tons were distributed within Gaza through partner organizations.

The aid was transported through various means. The total number of convoys sent by land via the King Hussein Bridge amounted to 1,865 trucks, distributed among 1,122 trucks from the JHCO with international organizations, and 743 trucks from the JHCO with the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).

The total number of air drops conducted by the JAF amounted to 358, with 257 airdrops carried out with partner countries and 101 drops solely by the JAF.

The aid sent by El Arish Airport in Egypt amounted to 53 planes, with 13 planes dispatched by the JHCO and 40 planes in partnership with relief organizations.

The number of beneficiaries of relief and food aid provided directly in collaboration with partner organizations within the Gaza Strip reached 717,000 beneficiaries.
