Biden expresses growing frustration with Netanyahu

In a recent interview with Time magazine, US President Joe Biden conveyed his growing frustration with Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Biden suggested that Netanyahu's actions might be driven by personal political motivations, leading to the prolongation of the war.

"There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion," Biden stated when asked if Netanyahu was extending the war for his own political survival.

Biden explained that Netanyahu is under enormous pressure regarding the “Israeli” captives in Gaza, pushing him to do anything to retrieve them.

Despite Biden's solid support for “Israel”, demonstrated by deploying two aircraft carriers to the region and rallying Egypt and Saudi Arabia to prevent a broader conflict, Biden remains critical of Netanyahu's strategies.

Biden's efforts to broker a phased cease-fire plan to end the war and secure the release of captives have been ongoing. However, sources close to Biden suggest that Netanyahu remains a significant obstacle to achieving a broader regional peace deal.
