“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netnayahu reiterated today that the complete destruction of Hamas in the Gaza Strip is a pivotal part of the “Israeli” plan presented by US President Joe Biden for a ceasefire agreement.

"Israel's conditions for ending the war have not changed: the destruction of Hamas's military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel," Netnayahu said in a statement.

“Israel will continue to insist these conditions are met before a permanent ceasefire is put in place. The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter,” the statement adds.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden revealed details of a new proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, saying that “Israel” had made an entirely new proposal consisting of three stages.

Biden added in a press conference on Friday that the Israeli Occupation had presented a comprehensive proposal regarding a ceasefire and the release of all captives, including the return of Palestinians in Gaza to their homes.

In the second stage, all living prisoners would be exchanged, including "Israeli" soldiers, while the third stage would include a large reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip.

Biden said that Tel Aviv wants to ensure that Hamas is unable to carry out another attack similar to Oct. 7.

He also noted that the “Israeli” proposal includes a six-week cessation of hostilities in the first stage, which will allow “Israel” to integrate into the region and reach a historic normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that it will approach any proposal based on a permanent ceasefire and a complete withdrawal of “Israeli” forces from Gaza positively.

Hamas added in a statement that it positively views the U.S. President's speech, which called for a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza.
