Journalist Ola Al-Dahdouh was killed early Saturday morning after the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) bombed her home early Saturday morning, according to Palestinian media reports.

The IOF continues to target journalists in Gaza, with over 100 journalists killed since October 7.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) stated that it had submitted its third complaint to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding targeting journalists in Gaza, filing their first complaint on October 31 and another on December 22.

The organization said that the UN Security Council Resolution 2222 on the protection of journalists and associated media personnel in armed conflict — which was adopted nine years ago — emphasizes the importance of "prosecuting and punishing war crimes against journalists."
