Jordan to witness 'very hot' summer in 2024
As the astronomical summer commences on June 20 and continues until the autumn equinox on September 22, Jordanians are curious about what temperature patterns to expect during the upcoming summer months.
Jordan's Meteorological Department revealed that temperatures are forecasted to surpass their typical averages across most regions of the Kingdom throughout June, July, and August.
In a concise press briefing, they highlighted that the summer will bring hot and dry conditions with extended daylight hours, emphasizing the importance of taking precautions to guard against the sun, particularly during peak periods.
It's worth noting that, meteorologically, the summer season traditionally starts at the beginning of June and concludes by the end of August each year.
