The Traffic Department of the Public Security Directorate reported heavy traffic in the Abdoun area, the Boulevard area, and King Abdullah II Street on Friday evening.

This coincided with Jordanians celebrating the 78th anniversary of independence.

In light of the celebrations, the Traffic Department urged citizens not to disrupt the festivities and emphasized the importance of avoiding actions that could obstruct visibility or divert attention. Additionally, they cautioned the public to adhere to traffic laws and prioritize public safety.

A spokesperson stated, "Our celebration of national holidays reflects our dedication... to maintaining our own safety and that of others."
