Recruitment offices hold workshop to raise awareness of human trafficking crimes

Mohammad Al-Khalifat, Director of the Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Public Security Directorate Tuesday supervised a workshop on "Human Trafficking and Forced Labor."

Guild leader Ahmad Al-Faouri emphasized the importance of awareness and education for the members and employees in this sector to understand the risks that could lead to human trafficking crimes.

During the workshop, Al-Faouri stressed the need for partnership and coordination with regulatory and security agencies through workshops and conferences to stay updated on everything new in the field of combating human trafficking and to educate colleagues about the procedures and laws that fight human trafficking.

Major Al-Khalifat provided a detailed explanation of the risks that could lead to suspicions of human trafficking. He answered all the attendees' inquiries and presented several suggestions that he promised to consider to prevent any suspicion of human trafficking.

He also expressed his satisfaction with the level of awareness reached by the office owners and sector workers, pointing out that awareness is crucial in preventing the crime of human trafficking and avoiding any practices that might lead to suspicions of such crimes.

Al-Faouri praised the role of the Public Security Directorate, the Criminal Investigation Department, and the Anti-Trafficking Unit for their efforts in combating human trafficking.

He noted that the Public Security Directorate utilizes all its capabilities to prevent crime and ensure security for citizens.
