“Israeli” army says four soldiers killed by Hamas explosive
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced today the death of four soldiers in the fighting against Hamas in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood this morning.

According to a probe by the IOF, the troops were killed by an “explosive device or devices” in an alleyway in Gaza City.
The troops are named as:
- Sergeant Itay Livny, 19 years old, of the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Battalion, from Ramat Hasharon.
- Sergeant Yosef Dassa, 19 years old, of the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Battalion, from Kiryat Bialik.
- Sergeant Ermiyas Mekuriyaw, 19 years old, of the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Battalion, from Beersheba.
- Sergeant Daniel Levy, 19 years old, of the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Battalion, from Kiryat Motzkin.
Another officer and soldier of the same battalion were seriously wounded in the same incident – according to the IOF’s statement.
Another two soldiers of the 401st Armored Brigade’s 9th Battalion were seriously wounded by RPG fire on a tank in the Rafah area of southern Gaza.
