Man with Samurai sword kills 13-year-old boy in London

A 13-year-old boy was killed Tuesday by a man wielding a "Samurai" sword in east London, said the Greater London Metropolitan Police.

Four other people, including two police officers, were also wounded by the sword-wielding man - the police statement added.

"It's with great sadness that one of those injured in this incident, a 13-year-old boy, has died from their injuries," Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell, from the Metropolitan Police, told reporters - cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
