Jordan to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2024 on Wednesday

Jordan announced that Eid al-Fitr will fall on Wednesday, as Tuesday marked the final day of Ramadan.

The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, had called for sighting the Shawwal crescent on Tuesday.

Several countries have declared Wednesday, April 10, 2024, as the commencement of Eid al-Fitr after confirming the sighting of the Shawwal crescent.

Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines have all announced Wednesday as the start of Eid al-Fitr.
