Smotrich urges cabinet meeting on Hamas deal, Rafah invasion
Hebrew media sources have stated that Israeli Occupation Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to convene a cabinet meeting to address issues concerning the potential prisoner exchange with Hamas and the prospect of launching a ground military operation in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
It's reported that Smotrich, known for his hardline stance, aims to address these matters through a smaller ministerial council rather than the full war council.
