Israeli Occupation kills 140 journalists in Gaza aggression

The Gaza government media office reported on Wednesday that the count of journalist casualties has climbed to 140 since the start of the aggression in the Gaza Strip.

Previously, the media office accused the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of deliberately targeting journalists in an effort to distort the Palestinian narrative, obscure the truth, and impede the dissemination of news and information to regional and global audiences.

The International Federation of Journalists has previously condemned the targeting of journalists in Gaza, emphasizing the necessity of safeguarding them from violence perpetrated by the IOF to enable them to carry out their journalistic duties.

As the aggression against the Gaza Strip reaches its 180th day, marking six months of continuous acts of genocide and the targeting of civilians by the Israeli Occupation, the toll continues to mount.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of martyrs from the ongoing aggression since October 7th has risen to 32,975, with 75,577 reported injuries.
