Safadi, Guterres reject forced displacement of Palestinians

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed the developments in Gaza on Monday during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres.

The meeting focused on intensifying efforts aimed at halting the “Israeli” aggression in the Gaza Strip, alongside addressing the unprecedented humanitarian suffering and catastrophe, and ensuring the delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip.

Safadi and Guterres also discussed ensuring the provision of international protection for the Palestinian people and preventing the forced displacement of Palestinians, whether within Palestinian land or outside of it.
