Second Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza begins operations
The Jordanian Field Hospital Khan Yunis/2 in the southern Gaza Strip began receiving patients and visitors yesterday, Sunday, to provide medical and therapeutic services to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza and to offer assistance and support to them due to the ongoing war in the sector - a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said Today.
The Hospital's commander, in line with Jordan's noble humanitarian and medical mission towards the people in the Gaza Strip, stated that the medical teams have started receiving patients to provide them with the best medical services.
He emphasized that the hospital's teams are highly experienced and professional, proud to be present in the sector in compliance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and are providing their services efficiently and with distinction to our brothers.
The hospital's Director explained that the medical, nursing, and supporting medical personnel with expertise are carrying out their duties efficiently and professionally, noting that the teams immediately began all the necessary technical, administrative, and logistical procedures upon their arrival to start the hospital's operations.
Accompanied by the hospital teams were 28 trucks carrying humanitarian and relief aid, as well as medical supplies, to support the hospital's work in carrying out its tasks, as has been the practice of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The personnel of the Jordanian Field Hospital Khan Yunis/2 have returned to Jordan after fulfilling their humanitarian and medical duty, with a total of 44,906 patients served.
